Finish Timeline and Event Summaries - Due Wednesday, February 6
- Get into groups of 1 or 2 students
- Use the timeline you created yesterday and all resources available to you to develop a Civil War Summary of Events
- Summaries should be broken down by year (1861-1865) and include only the most important and impactful events of the Civil War.
Instructions
- Research - For each event find out what happened and how it impacted the civil war.
- Analyze - Determine the significance of the event and decide if it is important enough to remain in your timeline. Discard the less important events
- Summarize - write a summary for each event that includes what happened and gow it impacted the civil war.
- Compile - Your summaries may be in the form of a study guide, a booklet, a brochure, or included on your timeline.
